WOW is a product derived from corn. It works by quickly absorbing water from seeds which are in the germination stages. So if weed seeds hit your lawn WOW will not allow them to germinate. It seems to work well while not hurting any of the trees, shrubs or flowers like many of the chemical weed killers.

WOW also breaks down into a nitrogen source to add a little green to your lawn. Apply it only twice a year, spring and fall.
