Look for safer, organic alternatives to the things we as humans do every day that harm the planet we live on.
Organic Living in South West Florida

I am using the word "Organic" a little freely. I try to be as organic as I can be. What I mean by that is I try to do as little damage to the environment as I can. I look for every alternative to the things we as humans do every day that harm the planet we live on.
The more I read on the subject the more I realize the earth is going to go on changing no matter what we do. It's been changing since it was born and we have been living here for a very short time in it's life. All we can do is notice the things we do which degrade the quality of life and try to stop doing them. Don't pour so much stuff on your lawn that the fish in the canal die. The anoles (lizards, chameleons whatever you call them) in my garden love to eat the bugs you're trying to get rid of. Spraying your yard with the wrong poison will just kill the anoles too and then they stop eating the bugs you're trying to kill. And if you believe what they are telling us about global warming, why are we talking about making I 75 bigger? Why don't we talk a little more about mass transit?
I've found a lot of alternatives that are really quite simple to do. Many will actually save you a little money. If we each do a little it will add up to a lot!
